Being a cake fairy….

I’m just coming back down to earth after my second trip to Holt Hall with The Fairyland Trust, and incredibly it was even more enjoyable than the first!

The charity aims to get kids involved in nature, which it does through the make believe and magical. So, twice a year there is a Fairy Fair, where thousands of visitors come and enjoy the stunning woodland at Holt, Norfolk and experience some of the most beautifully bizarre activities you can imagine! You really need to see it to believe it!
This year I was honoured with the task of running the tea and cake tents…two small traditional style canvas and wooden structures stood side by side and full of willing volunteers ready to help the visiting children decorate their own fairy cakes and be refreshed by Fair(y) Trade teas, coffees and hot chocolates etc…
