One of the best things about going on holiday is the perspective it gives you about your “ordinary life”.
One of the worst things about it is that you invariably come home to so much work to do (more so because you went away) that the newly obtained viewpoint quickly gets lost.
I’m in the week after the week after I’m back. My ‘to-do’ list gets longer, memories of lazy days get hazier and my tan fades. But if I stop for a moment, allow a relaxed breath to slowly fill and collapse my lungs, focus on that “toes-in-the-sand” feeling, then the inspired and rejuvenated mindset is still there, just accessible with a little, enjoyable effort.
