It’s hard to describe yesterday’s birthday without being a little schmaltzy, or indeed sounding a lot mental. But at the end of it, a group of people wore slightly odd hats…at a meeting.

Somewhere along the line there was seriousness (fundraising plans and sports and art planning) but there was also an unexpectedly awesome projector-shadow puppet of a rabbit by a kite guru in a cap and some popular tropical style sunglasses from a photographer in a fez.
